Vogue Sketches
I noticed Vogue has drifted from the intimacy of the first sketch, so I created a digital extension that brings illustration back into fashion journalism. By adding sketches to the story, this project restores the creative beginning, and hopefully encourages young artists to pick up a pencil and sketch away.
The great outdoors
For this editorial project, I reimagined one of my favorite Vogue photoshoots as a mixed media print spread. I drew over the original photographs, layering handwritten reflections, textures, and illustration to create a more personal interpretation of the story.
I also designed a Schiaparelli inspired product spread to sit within the layout, blending high fashion with hand made mark making to give the shoot an expressive voice.
