What’s her story?
In 1930, my great-great-grandparents packed their bags and left Lebanon, Syria, or Israel—we’re not quite sure. What we do know is that they spoke Arabic, carried dreams of a new life, and somehow landed in a small Colombian town. Why Colombia? No idea. But they set up a fabric shop, turned imported Middle Eastern textiles into elegant dresses, and stitched creativity into my DNA.
Fast forward to 2014—I left Bogotá for sunny California to earn a dual Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Political Science, with a minor in Spanish Literature. Being a first-generation immigrant teaches you a thing or two about hustling and facing fear head-on. Fortune favors the bold, and I’m not afraid to go against the grain.
In 2025, I landed in Miami Ad School, where design, copywriting, and strategy collide in one of the most unique fields ever—advertising.
I run on generations of caffeine, relentless optimism, and the belief that movement creates opportunity. My family and I have been crossing oceans so I could write to you today.
Now, will you join me in the next chapter as an art director in Miami?
I read 33 books in 2024. wooo wooo!
Literature shapes my voice, perspective, and approach to storytelling. While I explore all genres, I’m especially drawn to magical realism and stoic philosophy.
